Terms and Conditions

Arrival & Departure
Check-in is from 3:00pm and check-out by 10:00am. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged in advance, subject to availability. Unauthorised late departures may incur an additional fee.

Use of Tahapuke
Tahapuke is offered exclusively for quiet, refined short-term accommodation. Parties, events, gatherings, or celebrations are strictly prohibited. The number of guests must not exceed those confirmed at the time of booking. Any breach of this policy may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

Behaviour & Consideration
Guests are expected to respect the peaceful nature of Tahapuke and the surrounding environment. Quiet hours apply between 10:00pm and 7:00am. Any disturbance or complaint may result in early departure without compensation.

Care of the Residence
Tahapuke and its furnishings are to be treated with care and left in good order. Any damage or breakages must be reported promptly. Costs exceeding normal wear and tear may be charged to the guest.

Cleaning
A professional departure clean is provided. Guests are asked to leave the residence in a reasonable condition. Additional cleaning required due to excessive mess may incur further charges.

Smoking & Pets
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside Tahapuke. Pets are not permitted unless expressly approved in writing prior to arrival.

Safety & Liability
Guests stay at Tahapuke at their own risk. The owners accept no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings. Children must be supervised at all times.

Termination of Stay
Management reserves the right to terminate any stay immediately should these terms be breached, including disturbances or unauthorised gatherings. No refund will apply in such cases.

Acceptance
By confirming a booking at Tahapuke, guests acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions and accept responsibility for all members of their party.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees apply based on when written notice of cancellation is received:

  • More than 30 days before check-in: Full refund of amounts paid, less a cancellation/administration fee of $[XX] (or [X]% of the Total Booking Cost).

  • 15–30 days before check-in: 50% refund of the Total Booking Cost (or amounts paid), less any non-refundable fees.

  • 14 days or fewer before check-in (including no-shows): No refund applies; 100% of the Total Booking Cost is payable.

Early Departure
 

No refund is provided for early departure or reduced nights due to weather, personal circumstances, travel disruptions, or dissatisfaction not caused by a proven issue on our part.
