Pass through Tahapuke's private gate on Russell's historic Strand and leave the world behind. Tucked into its own secluded cove yet just a five-minute walk from Russell's wharf and town centre. This iconic waterfront property offers something increasingly rare: complete privacy, without isolation.

Three spacious bedrooms sleep up to six across three generous living spaces. Two bedrooms feature their own ensuite, with a third bathroom shared between the remaining bedroom and guests. A main lounge with fireplace, a TV snug, fully equipped kitchen, and private waterfront deck make it as comfortable as it is beautiful. Step outside to your own private beach, deck, and BBQ. Kayaks and a dinghy ready to launch straight from the shore into the calm, sheltered waters of your very own bay.

Full and exclusive access to the entire property: the home, private beach, waterfront deck and BBQ. Kayaks and a dinghy are available to launch directly from the shore. A private mooring is available for those arriving by boat. Secure off-street parking is accessible through the private gated entrance on Russell's historic Strand.

Tahapuke luxury accommodation is in Russell, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, an hour and a quarter drive from Kerikeri Airport and KeriKeri Town, giving you a variety of options for arrival:

Arrive by vessel/boat across the Bay of Islands, past historic Russell, alongside your own private island, and into the calm waters of Tahapuke's hidden bay with your private mooring (32-Foot Vessel Max - Mooring is a 2-Tonne Concrete Block)

Arrive by car across the Opua ferry, or wind your way along the histrical trailing roads, either way, the journey ends at Tahapuke's private gate.

Tahapuke is a quiet, private retreat designed for relaxed stays — we kindly ask that the property not be used for weddings or large gatherings.
As Tahapuke sits within a protected kiwi habitat zone, pets and other animals are unable to be accommodated.
